I would like to address this question. Most people when they hear this term think it only means spousal abuse, well this is so far from the truth. The term Domestic Violence acts as an umbrella for the following acts: domestic abuse, spousal abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and elder abuse.
